David Lowe (CEO)
David has over 20 years experience in business development, sales, strategy, operations and management in media and technology sectors. His expertise includes introducing new technology products into markets, building and managing teams as well as in securing market share for early stage companies. He was instrumental in building L90’s business development team, reporting to the co-founder, and driving revenue growth through a $100 million NASDAQ IPO. David has managed relationships with multinational companies including Intel, Hilton, Deloitte, Coca Cola and Charles Schwab.
David is former Managing Director, Canada for LinkMe Mobile a US-based company with mobile search applications and technologies as well as VP of Sales for KB Media.
David is a graduate of University of Toronto and the UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Management Program.
Remko Noteboom (CTO, Co-Founder)
Remko has more than fifteen years of software development experience specifically with dep understanding of how to design and architect workable asset management systems as he has developed many different proprietary systems in production studios.
Prior to founding Southpaw Technology, Remko worked with Nelvana Limited and C.O.R.E Feature Animation developing designing infrastructure and asset management solutions for large scale productions.
With extensive international co-production and outsourcing experience for productions and multiple studios, Remko understands the complexities of working with multiple teams, in divergent locations.
Remko has a Masters degree in Engineering Physics in the Solid State Physics group from Queen’s University.
Mark Schultz (CFO)
Mark has over 25 years experience in various finance and accounting roles. Previously, Mark was the Director Finance and Acting CFO for Blockade Systems Corp. where he negotiated the sale of the company to a U.S competitor. Mark spent 7 years as Director – Finance, Business Planning and Analysis at The Bulldog Group, Inc., a Canadian digital asset management software developer. While at Bulldog, Mark was responsible for all finance and accounting functions, and raised over USD $40 million in five separate private equity financings.
Prior to Bulldog, Mark was a Corporate Finance Associate at Richardson Greenshields of Canada Limited and held Investment and Cashflow Analyst positions at both Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada and Mutual Securities Inc. Mark obtained an MBA from the University of Western Ontario, as well as combined Honours Commerce and Economics degree from McMaster University.
